Website and archive portal for Fondo Malerba per la Fotografia

Fondo Malerba per la Fotografia ETS needed to migrate an existing WordPress archive (built around gallery plugins and manual publishing workflows) to a scalable Webflow system. I redesigned the information architecture using the Archives template as a base, then rebuilt the archive as a structured CMS with separate collections for Artists, Works, and Categories. A major deliverable was a password-protected “private archive” page that lets authorized users filter and search the collection, select multiple works via checkboxes, and export the selection for operational use. Instead of generating fragile PDFs, I implemented a more reliable pipeline: selected items are sent to Make.com, enriched via the Webflow API, and written into a Google Sheet as a clean, standardized table with all required fields (including economic value, archive code, edition, signature status, and provenance/story). Image previews are embedded directly from Webflow’s CDN while preserving original proportions, keeping the workflow lightweight and maintenance-friendly. The project also included domain pointing, responsiveness fixes specific to the template’s fluid typography, and essential-only cookie + privacy policies aligned with the site’s minimal tracking footprint.

Fondo Malerba per la Fotografia ETS is a Milan-based cultural institution focused on photography, operating as an Italian third-sector entity (ETS) registered on RUNTS. The organization manages a growing collection and an editorial archive that must remain accessible to the public while also supporting internal processes such as cataloging, selection, and controlled sharing of information. The website therefore needs to balance curatorial clarity with practical operational tools: structured metadata, consistent presentation across devices, and a secure area for authorized users.
