Animated Introduction for Fendi Women’s and Men’s Spring/Summer 2026 Show

I created the opening motion sequence for Fendi Women’s and Men’s Spring Summer 2026, presented in Milan in September 2025. Set design by Marc Newson. Visual direction interpreted by Nico Vascellari. I collaborated with Vascellari to translate his ideas into moving images and animated the piece in After Effects.
The motion language is rooted in the forms and movements of nature. I studied currents, fibers, ripples, and the gradual build of wind and light, then translated those references into flowing curves, elastic gestures, and measured reveals. The pacing is calm and assured so that each transformation feels inevitable. Texture is present but restrained to suggest depth and surface while keeping the image clear and legible at runway scale.
The pixel based environment of the show recalled an analog era video game and amplified a pop art mood. The collection balanced airy fabrics with strong fields of color and played with athletic codes, floral motifs, and city practicality. I echoed that spirit with a buoyant rhythm, precise easing, and a modular system of paths and gradients that breathe, stretch, and contract with control. From the master sequence I delivered alternate cuts for screens and social formats in 16 by 9, 9 by 16, and 1 by 1, prepared for high resolution playback and online distribution.
